BurtonTV Community Interest Company (CIC) is an internet media company that provides information, programmes, interviews, documentaries and news items on a broad range of topics to the local community. We operate across the areas of East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire and Uttoxeter, and aim to provide access and engagement to the community on local issues affecting the area through media platforms.

MANAGING DIRECTOR (Burton TV LTD)/ PRODUCER
John is a Burtonian born businessman and has grown up through the history of film and broadcast from 16mm through to the digital age. John’s career has been in broadcast news and sport, and he is still on the books of major British and international broadcasters, as well as The Football Association, covering all levels, from Conference to Premiership games.
He also runs his own successful TV production company, which specialises in documentaries, and is the founding member of BurtonTVNews.co.uk
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR/SOCIAL MEDIA
Jonathan has been in the Television Industry for the past decade, working in areas as diverse as Direct Selling, Live Event Coverage, Local and International News Gathering.
He is currently juggling his busy work schedule to bring the Burton TV website to you, and using his social media prowess to find you local news pieces from around Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.
Shameena came into Media Production in 2009. Coming from a science background, she went to Staffs University to Study a foundation Degree in Digital Media Production. After graduating, in September 2010, she was invited to be involved in Project Wired @ The Brewhouse, where she showcased her first films on Burton History.
Caz Brown (presenter)
Caz’s enthusiasm and natural flare for the limelight was encouraged and nurtured by her theatre enthusiastic family in a small village near Swadlincote.
She has directed and performed in a number of amateur drama societies over the years, joining new ones as she travelled around the world, including Germany and Hong Kong where she became ‘Entertainments manager’.
One of her passions is singing and has been lead vocalist in a couple of bands over the years.
She has two teenage daughters and run a successful business in Burton.
“I love being on the stage and in front of the camera but get just as much satisfaction helping others to entertain, putting together and being involved with shows for all ages to enjoy. I am eager to see what exciting ventures Burton TV will bring”.
Originally from Kent, Sue has lived in Burton for the past ten years, and works at a Burton primary school as an admin assistant.
With two young daughters, she is involved with many social aspects in and around Burton, so keeps her ear to the ground for news. This is her first role as a TV Presenter but has taken to it like a duck to water, keen to put across the views and feelings of the “Man in the Street.”
Sue joined the Burton TV Team in 2011 and has presented many reports.
